Statement of Faith
Tammie Ratliff Ministries Believes:
- The Bible is the Holy Word of God, inspired by God.
- In the trinity (Godhead), God in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
- That God is the maker of heaven and earth.
- That God, because of His love and compassion for mankind - sent His son , Jesus Christ as a ransom for the sins of mankind.
- That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He is the Messiah (Savior of the World). That He was conceived through immaculate conception and was born of a virgin. He was both human (feeling and experiencing the same things mankind feels), and divine - possessing the full measure of the Spirit of God with the evidence by signs, miracles and wonders. He was crucified, thereby taking on the sins of all mankind and was raised from the dead. After which, He ascended on high to be seated at the right hand of the Father. He is our advocate with the Father and intercedes for us day and night.
- That Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice for sin. Because of this, mankind can now approach the throne of grace with boldness and obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Jesus Christ is the bridge that connects mankind to The Father.
- That Jesus gave all believers new commands; Love the Lord God with all your heart, mind and soul; and love your neighbor as yourself. TM Ratliff Ministries believes this to be the fulfillment of the Law of God.
- In the new covenant of Grace found in Hebrews 8:10-13 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away."
- That God's ultimate purpose for mankind is that through Christs' example and sacrifice, we be transformed to resemble, reveal, and reflect His character in the earth. And that believers in the way of Christ live fruitfully abundant lives on earth, until the day of Christs' return.
- In the rapture and the ultimate return of mankind to the earth to live in peace and harmony with God, as originally intended through Adam and Eve.
